swag

Hello after a long absence! The prodigal (not) son (not) has returned. I come bearing gifts:

I wore this ensemble a couple weeks ago (and coincidentally, today, too). Fun fact: the pants are not from Aladdin himself -- contrary to popular belief -- but rather from Goodwill, for a whopping $10! Twas a proud moment indeed.

In other news... Yesterday was my 18th birthday (ruh roh -- jury duty, here I come) so I made the impromptu decision to dye my hair red. The results? SEE BELOW!

Doesn't everyone have those days when you think you're taking a photo but it's a video? I mean, I do. If it weren't for my feisty eyebrow (what a trickster) you may never know the difference...

Thurr is the hurr. Red.

Candid. Introducing the Tobes. The brother.

Some of Toby's artwork. WE LOOK ALIKE.

Bye bye.

the ship

Oh hai! So, I have no outfit posts, as usual, but I saw this in my usual blog-stalking and am just still trippin'. How cool is she. Really cool. HELLA COOL, as we Bay Area-ans (awkward?) say. Here we go:

I mean... The primary colors are just too perfect. I want the hat. I am the hat. BE THE HAT.

Once again, from the glorious Susie Bubble

One of these days in my life I will take some pictures of my clothing. In theory.

Hasta la vista.

P.S. 16th follower -- I notice you! Yah Chantelle!

who knew

Just a little blast from the past, yielding LOTS of fashionable merit. Girl with Native American head dress thing and gun holster (das wassup) = YOURS TRULY.

Boy in yellow shirt = my broski, Toby. I guess theater runs in the blood. Also creds to Rod, Anne and William for completing the family!

That's all folks.

Blue

Happy Yom Kippur, my fellow Jews! It's always fun to spend a day not eating, sitting in temple, listening to words you don't understand, isn't it? Especially because just as you are settling into that mid-morning day-dream/snooze, you have to STAND UP, SIT DOWN, AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN.

Anyway, I actually do like Yom Kippur.

Without further hesitation, heeeeeeere is an outfit I wore last weekend.

The shirt was my dad's back in the day, and my mom was cleaning out her closet, and just couldn't throw it away. So I took it. BAM.

Here you have a better view of the little Ugly Doll thing. My friend gave it to me a year or so ago, and I don't really know what it's supposed to be used for -- probably not being mercilessly hair-banded onto some tights, but alas, when inspiration calls, whatchu gonna do?!?

And finally, the Birkenstocks. How I love them. The ones that traveled with me to Senegal, resulting in a permanent sandal tan. Yes.

Farewell, international team of followers.

SHE'S BAAAACK

Yes, indeed, my faithful fearless followers, I have returned. I realize this past few months may have been difficult for you, what with my absence and all, but hopefully this post will mend any hurt feelings like one of those Spiderman bandaids we all used to love as younguns. Anywhoz, this year is about to be as busy as this summer, because I have to... get... into... college... So, the blogging will be sparse. Hang in there my friends, we shall overcome.

Speaking of summer, I shall now do a lil' recap.

First, I went to Senegal.

Me and Kine Faaaaaam

Mbour [ironic, going to the tourist capital, right after spending 10 days in a remote village, each of us staying with a family? oh well]

22 days later, I went to New York, and then England.

There's me in the middle, with the long pants that look like a skirt!

And finally, I came home, and Sofi took artsy pictures.

Luh you, my dear mini-me!

Kelly Lee, come back from Wesleyan, PLEEEEEASE!

So, now you know my life. You may not have any idea what I did in these various locations, but you've seen the clothing, so hopefully that suffices? If you want to know more, call me beep me if ya wanna reach me (Copyright Kim Possible).

Farewell, hasta la vista, good bye.

modern famblam

Soooo I've been severely lacking on updating this thing. Sorry, [nonexistent] intensely loyal cult of followers. I will reform. But probably not anytime soon, as I leave for Senegal (!!) in 8 days. Anywho, here are some things I like. I own approximately two accessories, so I decided to find some I want and will most likely never own:

Who wouldn't want this? Works for all genders, all ages, all everything, ALL.

Also from Pixie Market

I die.
From Modcloth

I've been hoping these will go on sale for plus/minus a year now, but all to no avail. ALAS.

Anyway, that post was slightly miserable but I was starting to feel guilty about ditching the satsumas and letting them rot and such (extending the metaphor too far? maybe?). In other news, I love Modern Family and making crossword puzzles (just when you thought I couldn't get any dorkier, I pull THAT outta my figurative sleeve...).

Farewell!

balloons in the library

Isn't this just lovely?

Yes, yes, it is.
