Isn't this just lovely?

Yes, yes, it is.

look for a street that starts with g

Wore this a couple days ago...
Toby wanted me to do a "hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil" (or however that goes) thing, but it kind of failed, but here are some of the wonderfully entertaining (maybe?) results.
The expression... That's what you look like when you're really trying hard to KEEP THE EVIL OUT OF YOUR EARS.
This is supposed to be witty because it's playing off of the fact that I'm almost legally blind*. See I'm holding my glasses off, to "see no evil"? Ha ha ha.

Anyway, I'm in a bitter mood, but alas, such is life. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, I got the Rodarte for Target dress! YAAA! It's so frekking nice. Will be up here soon, I swurr.

* = just kidding, my mom is the almost-legally-blind, not-at-all-legally-blond, one.

Okay, the end.

for you, droob

Well goodness this has been a dry spell! I suppose I just got too busy what with the play and school and remembering to eat/breathe too... Still no outfit posts yet, but some inspiration type stuff? I'm getting into this whole Spring mood, but it's weird because it's also raining a lot... So I've been trying to devise an outfit that captures that, and have pretty much failed, so have decided to just post pictures of people who I think actually succeed at that.
First of all, the girl from the Uniform Project. I don't know if that is a skirt or a shirt or what, but whatever it is, it looks fantastic. The black dress gives the outfit a sort of edgy dark feeling, which I just love...

Other adorable cold-but-still-spring things to love:
(The four above images are from the Aperture Foundation.)

Hopefully an outfit post is coming soon. That's all for now!

bird, the bird, bird is the word

HAPPY EASTAH! I plan on wearing all pastels today in celebration.*

Last night was opening night, so I figured I needed an appropriately gaudy/bright outfit. I wanted to wear these lovely shoes a family friend gave me a while ago, so I pretty much based the outfit around them. I like to think that from bottom to top, this outfit was a mix of tacky-Texas-soccer-mom and artsy-fartsy-Parisian-student.

The boots are horrifically treacherous to walk in (I need a person as a crutch at all times). Thus the sitting.

Don't be fooled by the fact that I'm smiling. My feet are crying.

Luckily, my love for these high-waisted jeans made up for the suffering and pain my feet were going through.

* = why ARE pastels associated with Easter?!

To all the Easter celebrators, have a wonderful
day eating/finding/painting eggs today!

P.S. Thanks to the glorious Chansooooooo for taking the pictures! I am moving up in the world; for the first time, a real live person took my pictures, instead of the ole self-timer! It was a lot more terrifying than I would have expected, but you know, baby steps, baby steps.
